"I had a time here. It was a very straightforward journey about 3000 ft total elevation to get to the top. The drive was windy and nice you could literally see the roads beneath you as you transitioned up. The top view was breathtaking. I came with my family and we loved the feeling of seeming like we were up in the clouds. I can't say enough, I'll just put up the pics . It's a great day trip out if you're looking for something low key to do at the weekend. 45mins drive total to the top from walnut creek."

"Not too hard to drive to the top, watch out for bicyclists on the sharing road. It’s looking stunning with 360 degree view. You need a whole day to explore other beautiful picnic areas too. And don’t miss out the City of Rocks on the way down. The water fountain up there is cold and fresh."

"This park was incredible. Wish we could have spent more time here. Lots of history to the peak and the views were amazing. I felt like I was in Switzerland with all the green. The weather at the top was night and day from the valley making it a true mountain peak."

"It is recommended to refuel before driving up the mountain. There are tickets for day trips and overnight camping tickets. Remember to pay for the area ticket when camping. This park has a camping area, so if you are going to CCB Mountain Climbing on a day trip, it is recommended to come early in the morning, because there are many walkable areas in the park, so remember to bring water for hiking. If you come to camp, you can set up your tents and equipment and then walk around the various trails in the park. You don't have to be restricted to the camping area all the time, you can have a better life of walking and leisurely. The camping area does not provide electricity, and the use of water, toilets, and bathrooms are all concentrated in one area, so those who need electricity must bring their own power supplementary equipment. The space of the entire camping area is well distributed and the scenery is great. It is recommended to bring a shovel to smooth the uneven ground so that the tent can be set up."

"Very nice and scenic view from the top on the summit. Very informative and educational exhibit with movie on Mt. Diablo’s history as well. The road leading to the summit had no guardrails all the way up and is as well maintained as it can be due to the environment it’s in. The road is slightly narrow so as long as you follow suggested speeds and yield to bikers you will be fine. I would not recommend for new drivers or drivers with no experience on roads like this. There are adequate restrooms and water fountains on the top and good parking."
