"Dr Elsa Cruz will constantly have to ask you the same questions for basic info about you, despite claiming to "have [her] notes with her". She has missed multiple appointments and prescribed me a new medication that landed me in the ER because she failed to meet both follow up appointments in 3 weeks. The meetings she does make it to are short, and she seems to always get the wrong ideas. Please do not see her. She may cause you or a loved one serious harm. I have permanent nerve damage from another medication she gave me and kept me on for months despite me telling her of the bad effects it was having."

"What an incredible waste of time seeing this woman was. I missed work for a 10 am appointment. Waited 20 minutes, then was asked to GO HOME for an hour and come back, as she had a teleconference she was supposed to participate in. Didn't end up seeing her until almost noon. Mind you, I've been taking the same medication that has been working well for me for the last four years, so I was not interested in switching, just needed a refill. She then tells me I will need to take a blood test before our next appointment to see which medications will work best for me, which I had already expressed I was not interested in and is a bizarre request that I've never been asked by a psychiatrist before. She then says that I will have to continuously come back and repeat this process every month because she doesn't write refill prescriptions. She said don't even worry about making appointments just come in and I'll see you when I see you. She obviously wants to get paid once a month for me to miss several hours of work to tell her that my medication is continuing to perform exactly the way it has been long before I started seeing her. She obviously has no respect for anyone's time but her own. Now I need to make ANOTHER appointment with ANOTHER physician to get my prescription refilled."

"I wish I could give her 0 stars This Dr is beyond negligent They do not refill my moms prescriptions on time ever! our pharmacy which is excellent Kramer’s in Agoura Hills calls her repeatedly and gets no response When I took my mom there she’s 82 the Dr didn’t recall or have any important info about what she was taking currently She seems to be on something drugs wise herself . She will be reported by me yo the medical board. She makes her patients wait over an hour and has horrible staff support DO NOT USE HER YOU WILL BE SORRY"

"I have never ever left a review in my life, so here we go. I made an appointment with her (my first time ever seeing any kind of mental health specialist after struggling for YEARS). I was beyond nervous. She kept me waiting for 30 minutes, did not listen when I spoke, little rude things like that. During my session, she interrupted me and took two different phone calls. She asked me an extremely upsetting question that brought up some truly terrible flashbacks, and then answered the second phone call and didn’t listen to what my answer was. She walked to the waiting room to talk to a patient and left the door wide open with me on the couch, feeling very exposed. She then came back and had me fill out a questionnaire in a different room while she saw two other patients in her office (DURING MY APPOINTMENT). She left me in this room with the screening questionnaire alone for well over 20 minutes, so I left. I was in complete shock. This was the first time I have ever considered opening up about a lot of things and she made me feel completely insignificant and unheard. I understand that she is busy and her receptionist had called in sick, but that doesn’t excuse the fact that I was left sobbing in my car with reopened trauma thanks to her."

"I have never written an online review for anything ever so this should go to show how awful Elsa Cruz is. I have been seeing her for about 9 months and every single appointment without failure this woman has shown up at least half an hour late. Then, all she does is make small talk and prescribes random medication without any consideration or explanation to the patient. She is incredibly unprofessional and her negligence has caused many problems in my life because of her inability to interact with patients. If I could give 0 stars I would. Also, it should be noted that the only five star rating for this center is herself."
