"super cool house. we come to newport every year but we had to rent 2 condos to fit our extended families..it was great to all be under the same roof..and way more affordable. and nicer and quieter than the rest of Balboa. we did stay on Lido Island for the holidays but there is absolutely no place for the kids to play, here they just are on the sand in front"

"This is heaven in Newport Beach. You look out over the sidewalk across the wide beach with dunes and wildflowers to the ocean and Catalina Island. This block is the least populated of the long stretch of beach though it gets a nice amount of bike riders and walkers going by. The house is spacious and gracious, a big old family house with a bedroom for everybody. If you are a sailor, the yacht club is across the street. If you are a skim boarder or a body surfer, the waves are right out front. My favorite months are October to May when the weather is cooler and the ocean can get covered in white caps and the sunsets on Catalina Island are vivid."
