"Frustrating, disorganized, often rude/unhelpful workers who are probably overburdened. My experience echoes pretty much all the other low reviews."

"I want to preface this by saying I am not one to exaggerate or post reviews out of spite or anger. The poor service and unreliability of this pharmacy over the past 2 years has been appalling. On numerous occasions, I have been told that my script was filled and then showed up to find out that there was some issue that prevented them from completing this. Reaching them by phone is a nightmare, requiring multiple calls to reach a real person after being put on hold numerous times. If you have a controlled script, be prepared to wait for an additional 5-15 minutes, as they recently started a process of making you wait for them to open the safe. I dread interacting with one staff member who has repeatedly made rude remarks (everyone else is professional and kind, hence an extra star)."

"I've had multiple negative experiences at this pharmacy, but my most recent experience was egregious enough that I'm considering taking formal action. My well being was put at risk because a pharmacy tech refused to allow me to pick up a medication prescribed by my doctor. When asked why she was unable to fill it she said "I'm too busy for this right now and your insurance won't even cover it." She would not even entertain the idea of allowing me to pay for it out of pocket. There was no one in line when I arrived and when I had called several hours earlier she said that neither she nor the pharmacist present could help me at that time either. The timing of when you take this medication is critical so I ended up taking a whole day off work in a desperate attempt to get the medication. Later that day my doctor, who was appalled by the pharmacy staff's refusal to dispense the medication, helped me to find a neighboring Safeway pharmacy that quickly and professionally filled my medication in less than 24 hours -- and my insurance covered 100%. If it weren't for the quick intervention from my doctor I likely would have had to forego the prescription. A few days later I called this location back and a friendly employee assured me that the pharmacy tech should at the very least have allowed me to buy this particular medication out of pocket. I hope when the new management takes over at this location in a few weeks that they take the steps necessary to educate their staff based on this experience."

"They made a mistake this morning that ended up requiring me to make another trip there - a 15 minute drive both ways and then waiting in line, another 45 minutes total. When I asked for their explanation both the woman at the register and the pharmacist were rude and dismissive. I'm glad I'm moving and won't have to deal with them again."

"Shockingly incompetent. First prescription, they billed an insurance I don’t even have. Second prescription, they left a voicemail saying my order was ready for pickup...and it wasn’t. The pharmacist casually explained that the computer just calls whenever they get the prescription, because it assumes they’ll have it in stock. There won’t be a third prescription. I’m taking my business elsewhere – and you should too! (The cherry on top: every time I called, I had to wait on hold for 5 minutes or more.)"
