"A close family member of mine used to use them to manage their Airbnb and they were terrible to work and had incredibly high fees. When concerns were brought up to them (and there were a lot), they would be met with “okay we’ll look into it” and then never got back to them. They also charged only $200 a night for the listing but then charged a $500 cleaning fee so basically they were the only ones who made money since they require you to use their cleaning services. The cleaning service was also terrible and you know they’re charging $500 for a 2 hour cleaning while paying their workers $40 each for it. This company is a scam and I would think twice before using them to manageryour property."

"We had a wonderful stay at Bottled up in Bonsall. The house is very nice and the property is very secure. I stayed there for two weeks with my three kids and we were all very comfortable and cozy. I would absolutely stay there again with no hesitation."

"Our friend group booked a stay at one of the properties Barefoot manages and while the house itself was nice, we had issues with the cleanliness. First of all, a $500 cleaning fee is very steep and higher than I’ve seen at any property I’ve rented through Vrbo. For that steep of a cleaning fee, I would expect the place to be immaculate but that just wasn’t the case. A couple of the bathrooms had hair on the toilet seat, we found a few forks in the drawer with gunk on them, there were some glass ring stains on one of the side tables, and we found some pieces of trash underneath the dining room table. My friend who made the booking didn’t want to reach out to the host because there’s really nothing that could be done about it at that point, but it just made us think about if the place was actually thoroughly cleaned. Reading some of the other reviews, it looks like some other guests have had issues with cleanliness as well."

"Villa Di Gioia outside of Temecula was a fabulous place for my family of eight adults and two small children to gather for an extended stay. The home is stunning with many dramatic architectural details inside and out. The stonework and the views of the surrounding wine country add to the entire ambience. The large great room and kitchen allows for easy gathering and delightful meal preparation. The dining table seats a large group and doubles as a great place to enjoy board games, while just steps away from those in the great room and kitchen. The home is very large but also offers smaller spaces for quiet conversations or reading. The views from the expansive patio delighted morning coffee drinkers and those enjoying a late afternoon glass of wine. Plus the good folks at Barefoot Vacation Rentals were quickly responsive to any questions and concerns. Can't wait to stay at this beautiful home again!"

"Please stay away from this host. Host is unprofessional and rude to customers. We got their cabin and ended up canceling our trip. Check in time was 4 pm. The cabin was not cleaned upon arrival. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE STILL IN COVID PANDEMIC and this is not professional by any means. We had to wait outside in our car with 2 of 1 year old old babies. The cleaning guys didn’t show up until 7 pm. We asked some reasonable compensation to host. Host offered us the cleaning fee waiver and free dinner (which we didn’t need), or the full refunds (i.e. go home). Since we literally wasted our whole time outside even after sunset on our first day trip, we asked discounts toward the first night stay. Host refused and hung up the phone on us. Again, unprofessional manner. We ended up combing back home. Another 2 hours driving back home with 2 babies. Host didn’t care. All we wanted was just to have a short nice vacation. We were doubtful this maltreatment would be ever fair after paying $660 and all the arrangements I had to make from work and for our babies. Please stay away from this host. If same thing happened to you, you know what to deal with and it’s not worth it."
