"We bought a trip to Maui at the Fairmount that we could not use due to my husband being hospitalized x2. They helped us reschedule it but apparently some “certificate” was sen to us over a year ago and we could not use our reservation because we did not have the ‘certificate”, despite having a reservation confirmation. It is still unclear what “certificate” was needed and they wanted us to pay for another one. We stayed elsewhere for our anniversary and will not buy another auction item associated with Winspire."

"Bait and Switch - Stay Away! My bid for the "Tuscany Culinary Escape" ($5000) was the winning bid at a charity event. Inspire described their offering to include "Concierge Service" designed for "Gourmets and Wine Buffs". Essentially, Winspire sponsored a 2 night stay in Rome and a 5 night stay in Tuscany. ONLY breakfast was included. You are responsible for all other meals. Earlier travelers describe the Rome hotel as "tired" and the Tuscany hotel as "in the middle of nowhere and covered in graffiti". Airfare is NOT included. Also, you must get to the airport in Rome to hotel on you own. Not only that, you are responsible to pay for the cost of traveling. from Rome to the hotel in Tuscany (4 1/2 hours away!). BEWARE of the following: Your money is non-refundable. Winspire will not tell you this until after they have your money. And there are stringent booking requirements that you must comply with. A tour and lunch were included. But you must make your own arrangements to get there and pay for the 45 minute journey. So, essentially I won 7 nights in Italy for $714 per night. This package is a complete rip off. I ultimately canceled this "culinary escape" and swallowed the loss. Stay away from Winspire. Classic bait and switch! I must add that Winspire's travel assistant is not a target of my displeasure. Nicole was at all times cordial and professional."

"Won a trip at auction and while checking out of the hotel they let us know it hadn’t been paid for. Ended up having to pay for our 3 night hotel stay twice. No one picked up when trying to communicate via phone call or email with Winspire."

"My friend bid on a package from Winspire at a charity auction and we added a 3rd person. None of the room reservations had the 3rd person and we had to get the hotels to add a bed. They resold a package for the running of the bulls in Pamplona from Bucket List Events but never forwarded us the information from them so we showed up somewhat unprepared in terms of how many white and red outfits to bring. Lastly, they booked us train tickets from Pamplona to San Sebastián that required a change and a 4 hour trip when we could have taken a direct bus in an hour. When the train was delayed and we were going to miss the connection we ended up having to figure out our own way. Anyway, overall thumbs down! Wouldn’t use them again."
