"Dr Haggerty has been personable, professional and straight forward about my injury and expectations working with my workers comp insurance claim. She wanted to try cortisone shots as an alternative to surgery and we worked to get that approved. When that did not help we quickly scheduled the necessary surgery and discussed possible outcomes. I feel well informed and in good hands."

"I hate leaving bad reviews. But I’m leaving this one to help someone avoid what I went through. I had a serious work related injury, basically crushed my legs. I had to get plastic surgery, a rod down my knee to my ankle and various surgeries. I seen Dr. Haggertys reviews so I chose her as my treating physician expecting a good doctor. I’ve had great experiences at Alta Orthopedic so I felt it was a great choice. I’ll never forget her first words to me, “Why did they send you to me?” I don’t know if that meant my injury was too serious or she felt it was out of her expertise. But she was very cold. Every appt. I’ve had with her was very rushed. She’s in there for a minute maybe two and she’s gone. But I stuck with her because of the good reviews. I was having issues doing the work that I do with my injury. Resulting in me leaving work and going to the hospital. She refused to take me off work which was surprising. So I trusted her and pushed through. She did offer work restrictions but that wasn’t realistic since my job would fire me if I couldn’t perform the work. So I denied them. I really needed a few days to recover or to be disabled since I couldn’t perform my normal occupation. She refused. I then started developing painful corns on my foot. Which she removed one. But then they came back and she said she’ll just remove them when we do a surgery on my foot. On workers comp it takes a long time to get approval so she knowingly put me in a position to walk on these painful corns on my foot and still sending me back to work which just amplified everything I go through. When we discussed the surgery she wasn’t very optimistic of the success. So I eventually denied it as the cons outweighed the pros. And I continued to struggle at work. Since I denied a surgery that could result in amputation of my foot with little success she ended treatment. And gave me a very VERY low disability rating. Basically, telling workers comp. That I’m A ok. When she knew what I was going through and still am. I scheduled an appt. To talk to her after. I wanted to understand why she would not put me on disability when the determining factor is “Cannot perform USUAL occupation” mine was construction. She then snapped on me. She started cussing at me yelling the F word so loud that one of the nurses had to come in and check on her. I was shocked. Almost speechless. I am assuming she gives absurd rating to most worker comp patients as workers comp Probally gives her a lot of patients so she gives low ratings to be favorable to these insurance companies. And she was Probally expecting me to come in and be mad. Although I was very calm. Because she had no reason to cuss me out over something so small. She was extremely defensive. Didn’t even give me a chance to say much. So this definitely has happened with her. At the end she yelled “WHAT THE F DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?!!” I told her “the right thing. Do you think I can do the work I do? I want you to be my doctor and look out for me as a patient.” And it’s just made her more mad. So after going through all that. With these serious injuries: Lost an artery causing poor blood flow, broke my leg in half resulting in a rod and screw, crushed my nerves causing CRPS, broke several bones in my foot causing deformity and toes that stick up effecting balance, damaged knee, etc. I am sent to work and have a rating of 5% as if nothing major happened. I struggle everyday. Even a purple swollen foot if I’m on it too long. And this doctor had the nerve to cuss me out because I asked why she is sending me back to work. This is definitely a doctor that is in the workers comp. Pocket. She is extremely unprofessional and quite unstable. I would not trust her hand in any type of surgery. And trust me she will push a surgery on you. She may want money for workers comp. So she will be unfavorable to you. And she will rush your appts. She’s in and out. You are a clock in station not a patient. Beware."

"I especially appreciate that Dr. Haggerty sees her patients in- person versus having a PA deal with patients for routine follow-up appointments. She is skilled and caring. After my traumatic right ankle injury, she reconstructed my shattered ankle and I am so happy to be able to resume normal activities. I still have some residual pain/discomfort and she is following up with me at regular intervals to determine if any further treatment is necessary. She is truly wonderful!"
