"From the perspective of a caregiver. There is no waiting room for family or caregivers once the patient goes in for surgery. There are 4 chairs in a hallway. Good luck trying to get one of them! Also be aware that they are strict and unlikely to let you accompany the patient during pre-op and post-op. This has been a rule since covid and has not been lifted. Update: After calling and asking for special permissions I was allowed to accompany the patient. The first MA we spoke with was not sensitive about this issue despite the patient being very nervous and requesting company during pre-op. The nurses in the PACU were very responsive. Overall I think this center needs to be more sensitive to the emotional needs of patients."

"The staff was Good. The anesthesia Dr excellent. BUT they didn’t have the proper tubing needed for my drain. They inserted a drain too big and I endured complications. When I spoke with several people There they informed me of a manufacturing shortage. I asked for a remedy. Been three weeks haven’t heard a word ."

"I never leave reviews but this one is very deserving. My daughter came in for a procedure and I was super nervous going into it. Sheila did our intake paperwork at check in and she was so friendly and quick! We saw her when we were leaving too and she wished us well. She was so sweet, and not just to us, but to everyone who walked into the facility. Niki H was our recovery nurse and she was THE BEST. I was very emotional watching my daughter wake up from anesthesia and she did a great job comforting me while also instructing my husband on how to manage our daughter while she woke up. She was with us the entire recovery and very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed chatting with her. Overall AMAZING team. I wish I could have gotten everyone’s names!"

"Cataract removed at this fantastic place-ASPEN SURGERY CENTER. From the moment the nurse took me in...it was so pleasant and comforting. Every nurse who attended me was nice, super professional and u can tell they are great at what they do daily to help the doctors and me- a patient. "I had cataract surgery done here last week, December 2021. I was pretty nervous, but this place helped make everything as easy and pleasant as possible. Parking was great, although I got there at 6am, so I'm not sure if it fills up later. It was raining, but the lot was fully enclosed, with an elevator that went right into the building. The front office was pretty straight-forward and not that friendly, though not unfriendly. But once inside, everyone was very friendly and positive. I felt I was in good hands, and everything went well. A day later, off came the bandage, and I could see fine. By the next day, I could see about as well as before even without glasses for my other eye. I think I'll feel less nervous about the other eye now."
