I wish we have a lot of nurses in the building like them. From 1to 10 scale I gave them 11."

"There are Super Stars we will mention. However, for the facility and care our Mom received was okay. Several days upon our arrival, she was uncared for and unattended; we had to repeatedly ask for assistance to care for her. One employee was very rude and mean and always talked down to us; once we asked her why she treated us in this manner, she apologized (so there is no need to mention her name). In the midst of that, there were SUPER-STARS who performed above and beyond in caring for our Mom + they always made sure all our questions and concerns were answered and met. SUPER-STARS: NURSE NAJA, JULINE, THE CASE MGR. Also Jolene the Receptionist and Mike in Security always consistently greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile... these individuals "tipped the scale" towards the positive."

"Coming from a daughter and a medical health care provider: For the sake and life of you’re loved one avoid this place, let me tell you why. Shortly after my father was admitted my mother walked into my fathers room and found my father half off the hospital bed with the tubing disconnected from his trach to the oxygen which his life depends on, he was covered in his own feces from head to toe, he was short of breath and scared. The staff apologized and reassured us that would never happen again, we believed them I mean things do happen I suppose.. We didn’t know several other events would take place no doubt. So to sum it up: the staff didn’t answer the call light, however they did come in the room to turn it off then leave, (they even did this with us there). When we asked for help they passed the buck and/or simply ignored us. My father was not repositioned every two hours as mandated, his diaper was not changed for hours on end, he developed a bed sore because of that. He developed several infections, one of which required IV antibiotics, the IV was not in his vein it had infiltrated so instead of the antibiotic getting into his system and resolving the infection, the antibiotic settled into his hand causing pain and swelling. The infection got worse and traveled into his blood, we thought he was going to die. Finally we got him out of there but not without yet another infection. Now my father is in ICU fighting for his life."

"Been at this hospital for over a week and the staff is very nice. I would like to point out some nurses that have been very helpful and kind while my stay here. Harpreet Was one of the nurses that helped me when I was having bad anxiety. She called me down and told me that I was OK and that they were there for me and that everything was under Control. Another nurse is Penny, who is always smiling and kindhearted and making us feel comfortable. I also did physical therapy with Jason and he is amazing and fun and Help me push myself to the limit to. I also want to say that everyone staff kitchen has been very. Good and I recommend this hospital Stay. I appreciate the staff at kindred hospital. OK"

"My dad stayed here while recovering. Staff was always friendly and attentive to my dad. Everyone from the security guard and front desk receptionists to the the doctors and specialists and all the various nurses were always very attentive and informative. Even the custodial staff was very nice and kept the place very well maintained. Also wanna say that Fara called me multiple times to ask me how I felt the staff and overall care for my dad was going and I liked that she was on top of things. Lastly I want to say that Lucille, my dads social worker went above and beyond to place my dad in a new facility close to our home. Overall I’m VERY PLEASED with the care at KINDRED HOSPITAL RIVERSIDE. Thank you all from the HERRERA family."
