"Updated 2021: I stopped coming here after my visits in 2018 because the shop wasn’t consistently open during the posted hours. I’d stop by a few times but the doors were always locked. Original Review: Probably one of the best hair cutting experiences I've had. I visited Lakes Barber Shop after numerous suggestions in my search for a new barber and Dean did not disappoint! On my very first visit he cut my hair how I wanted it, had great conversation, and towards the end, my head was wrapped in a hot towel with a hot foamy shave to clean up the back of my neck."

"Lakes Barber Shop is the real deal, old school establishment with big steel and chrome chairs, a barber who's equally skilled with a clipper or scissors and licensed as an actual barber so a hot foamy neck shave is standard with every haircut. Dean has decades of experience, does outstanding classic fades and flat tops to contemporary cuts and, in my case, strong options for receding hairlines... He's worked as a colorist on women's hair and is great with kids and special requests. I've been going there over a year and won't go anywhere else. His waiting area has piles of magazines, a tv and good conversation. Reasonably priced, friendly laid back environment. Highly recommended."
