"The pizzeria is very good and parking lot across the street is usually available if you are early. Downtown Los Angeles is just lined with homeless encampments just stay alert! I The venue photos look much larger online - theatre is very small."
"Saw "I've Had It!" Sold out show - very funny! Only drawback was that our "seats" were on hard risers in the mezzanine, not actual chairs like the seats on the main level. Otherwise, we really enjoyed this venue and experience."
"Aging but fun music venue on the eastern edge of downtown LA. The first floor is an open dance floor, and I loved that it was sloped down to the stage - we had a totally clear view. The top floor has tables and seats. Acoustics were decent. Drinks were overpriced as always at $17. Street parking or private lots only which can be challenging, so consider rideshare, scooter, or Metro Bike."
"Come one, come all, and come to the regent theater while taking in the sights and smells of skid row. Great staff. Restrooms are there after the security checkpoint. Then it's straight through the doors ahead. Pick a seat or stand in a pit. Be ready to have sticky feet towards the front of the stage at the pit. People love to dance with open containers in hand. Lighting is really cool though. Kinda sets the mood to stand and listen to sounds."
"What a great venue! I was hesitant due to the location and it was rough. But there's parking literally across the street and a great pizza place too. Small intimate setting, not a bad seat in the whole place. Great bar service, awesome atmosphere!"
