"I had surgery here yesterday, and I would like to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors for taking great care of me. Everyone was very kind and the nurse made sure I was comfortable while I waited to be admitted for my surgery since it did get delayed for a few hours."

"ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. I had surgery about 7 months ago in which I was left for an hour by myself in recover by nurses along with zero cleaning in my room while I stayed for about 9 days. In that time my room was only cleaned by staff about twice only after my family had gotten ahold of a higher up due to a connection from work. I was almost never checked up aside from three nurses that were rotated out of the fourth floor I was on. Finally on the last day of my stay, it took 5 hours to get the paperwork to leave. Five whole hours after receiving everything else that I needed to leave. I’d love to say that was the end of the bad service but I then had to come back due to a complication with the would from the surgery and I ended up staying for 5 more days this time with even worse service on a separate floor (sadly I do not remember what floor). This time i started my stay in the ER due to a scare of infection (the original surgery was supposed to be an outpatient procedure and only after I was put under did we find out that it was infected and they need to remove more muscle then thought so we really didn’t want that to start up again). In the ER I waited around 6 hours to be seen in which I could not sit due to the location of the wound. During the six hour wait I had blood drawn a number of times to see if the infection had come back. I never got an answer on if it had or not after asking. After the six hour wait I finally got a bed and a younger nurse (when I mean younger I just mean in general younger, she was still older than me who was 18 at the time) informed me that I need an iv, but then also said I needed blood drawn for testing even though I had already had blood drawn for that reason. While trying to draw blood she went clean through the vein and caused a good bit of pain, enough for me not be able to really bend my arm at all and cause a good amount of a color change in the area. All of that to find out I DIDN’T NEED MORE BLOOD DRAWN and it was a mistake on her part. The rest of the stay was pretty lackluster but wasn’t really out of the ordinary for a 2.9 star hospital beside the surprising lack of information we received about my test. Now let’s fast forward to today, my mother this time needed to get stitches and a shot due to cut down to her bone on her hand. In a total of 5+ hours they were not able to do that and get her on her way back home to recover. Now in this case you may say, “well they probably needed her to stay for blood work or something similar to that.” But unfortunately that isn’t the case. She wasn’t able to have anyone wait with her for over 3 hours for a tetanus shot and to get the wound dressed properly after get stitches. It is crazy to even think that it would take 3 hours to get all of that done unless something rather large happened and they couldn’t put any manpower into getting the non-life threatening patients out. If possible I will never come back to this hospital and would never recommend it to anyone unless it’s something very minor. I truly feel bad for the good nurses and doctor that work here and have to try to make of for the poor management and the staff that don’t care even a little bit for the people that are overseeing. 0/100 Edit: sorry forgot to mention that the surgery that was suppose to be checking up on my condition daily for rounds did not come in everyday like he was supposed to and didn’t even send an assistant or anything like to to check on the progression of my wound but was marking down that he had come and check daily"

"I would like to share my experience going to my 5pm outpatient appointment last night. I have severe memory issues and wasn't sure where I was told to check in so I found the outpatient area on the side of the building, parked and went inside. Unfortunately no one was available to help me check in so the security girl named Courtney asked me what I was there for. I told her of my memory problems and that I wasn't sure why I was there and couldn't find a text or email but had it in my calendar. She immediately assisted me walking me to the front entry check in where the clerk said I didn't have a appointment in the system. Courtney told them of my memory issues and encouraged them to look into it. The clerk told me my appointment was at valley heart but I went there earlier in the day and they referred me to Doctors. Courtney stayed with me and saw me getting frustrated and crying so she got me a tissue box and asked me questions and asked the clerk to contact a department to see if I was in the system which they did and discovered I was on schedule for a procedure. Courtney made sure I had help getting to the proper place before she went back to her position. I told Courtney she was my angel. If it wasn't for Courtney, I would've been sent home. The check in clerk also told me to get my paperwork which I thought could be in my car but I knew I would need someone to take me to find my car so Courtney suggested her to look into the system and the clerk did find it. I was walked to the procedure room by the person who was doing the procedure and she was patient with me helping me through the process then she walked me out until I found my car. I truly appreciated the assistance I received from Courtney as well as the kind woman who did my procedure, I wish I remembered to write down her name. Jori Nunes"

"Last night my dad transferred to this hospital from different hospital via ambulance and he had high blood pressure, his blood pressure was 206/129 even i took a picture , I asked to nurses please give him blood pressure medicine then they replied sorry we can’t untill test results came back. I asked them again but this time they called a security just for asking medication because my father blood pressure was elevated from 190/120 to 206/129 but they were ignoring me even they took my right called freedom of speech . For minute i felt that i was in jail not in hospital because people were rude they don’t know to treat with people and how to communicate specifically with family members of patients, humanity should be first than any other things. If anything bad happen with my dad I will take them to the court for sure. If you guys have self respect and don’t want to loose it then you guys need to avoid this place please."

"For a tough situation where my son broke his wrist the staff was kind, responsive and full of empathetic Doctors Nurses and staff. Today we had a follow up questions and they were able to lend a hand. Best emergency we have encountered. Thank you. Esp Jodi & Jeff for quickly getting our paperwork."
