"I flew in from out of state to check on my brother . I have never witnessed such lack of patient care . I asked could my brother be freshened up and provided with lotion and soap and towel . I was told by a nurse ( Waverly) that she was busy and about to get off . She also stated with a tone that he “ could do it himself “ He had not been cleaned up! Another nurse was kind enough to get the items so I could care for him . He has severe swelling in both legs and feet . When the Dr. came in she seemed very agitated and begin to tell me how she had worked for six days straight. They are treating him for COVID and a UTI . But no one seems to be concerned about about the swelling. She did say they would order a CT BUT that’s not until Monday ! Today is Saturday and he’s been here since Thursday night ! He was just in Zuckerberg with the same issue. The doctor there said he had Venostasius ? . Gave him compression hose and OxyContin and released him . That was just a week or so ago .Since then he’s had a fall and the swelling has not gotten any better . There just doesn’t seem to be anyone here on the floor that will take the time to speak with me about a diagnosis or that will offer proper care. I had to travel by plane not only tp witness his condition but also lack of care ! Im planning on contacting patient services and hospital administration. The room hasn’t been cleaned and food trays aren’t picked up timely . There were two nurses that remember why they do what they do . Lizzy & Jazmine .They were helpful and weren’t even his nurses. This is appalling to say the least . I pray my brother gets well so that he can be discharged because this place is utterly ridiculous! I pray for those who have no one to advocate for them !"

"Ive had surgery here more than once. I love the size of this hospital - it’s not so big that it feels stressful or overcrowded. This time around the post op care I received from Shaw was awesome. I felt like I met an old friend who happened to practice medicine. Such a comfortable balance of casual, knowledgeable and caring. By the way, pre op was great too, it all just happened so fast this time that I didn’t catch names :)"

"My husband stayed on the 6th floor for three nights in July, whilst recovering from surgery. Overall the level of care was very good. The medical staff were efficient, yet empathetic and tried their best to make his stay as comfortable as is possible in these situations. The cleanliness of the room could not be faulted, and the personnel that brought his food were pleasant too."

"Lost my day trying to get a PCR test here. No notes on the door that there wouldn't be any PCR tests during the holidays. They did not move a finger to add a note on the door. I ended up writing a courtesy note to other patients. The clinic that always sends us to this lab is at the next floor. They have not been informed, so she (Rachel?) wrote an order for my PCR test to them. Their website was down. Simply they didn't care. I ended up not getting my PCR test done in the middle of a big city."

"Stayed for 24 hrs to accompany a relative's surgical procedure. Very good experience. Loved the fact this is basically a brand new building (opened 2018) so it was super clean, warmly designed environment. Spacious waiting areas with free wifi, comfy sofas and tables and plugs, with digital signage showing status of patient. Breakfast food quality in cafeteria was so-so, albeit nice dining room. Room-service menu, quick delivery and much better food quality (delicious soups, jook). Friendly staff all over made you feel in good hands. Private room had fold-out sofabed, and hospital provided sheets/blanket and pillow for guest. Parking garage on same block, with validated parking for patients."
