"One of the best / cleanest beaches we found in San Diego. Loved it. Great boardwalk further down from where we sat with shops and food too."

"San Diego beaches do not disappoint, although they had just experienced pretty nasty freak waves A few days earlier, it was still an amazing walk for one end to the other. You can imagine that it wasn't overly busy, because of the time of year. Beautiful sunsets, amazing sand between the toes, and simply peace walking from end to end."

"We took a stroll along the boardwalk after visiting Belmont Park. It's easy to park at the main lot and walk to the ocean. The boardwalk seems to go on forever. You could easily walk in one direction for 30 minutes. Great people watching, though there can be some shady characters. Beautiful sunset views"

"We visited during the first day of "Winter Wonder" and it was a great experience. Belmont Park, where the shops and numerous rides are located, has something to enjoy for every age group. For the rides, a one-day/all rides wristband runs you about $60, but you can pay $120 and come back for a year!! The beach is steps away, and there's an olympic-sized pool called The Plunge (pay for 2-4 hour session), a zipline (requires closed-toe shoes and parental consent) AND a rock climbing wall are all located within the Belmont Park area. These 3 are not included with the wristband price, but are not too expensive."

"What an amazingly beautiful beach. Come early for flawless shots of the roaring ocean waves. Be aware on certain days there are riptides and you can be dragged out to sea. The water was clear and the beach was clean. There were restrooms and shower stations not far from the shore and plenty of parking. Don’t bring dogs onto the beach though."
