"I have bought NY Strip steaks in here before and they're very good, and a good price. I had a pastrami sandwich here today and it was very good but not memorable. A bit dry. And at $17(!!) after taxes, it didn't seem like a good value. The other sandwiches are probably a better way to go, and the place smells great, the way a deli should smell. But I wouldn't buy a $17 sandwich again."

"5-star service, 5-star steak quality. Came into this store for the first time to pick up 2 ribeyes. They looked amazing under the glass; fresh, thick, well-marbled. The man who helped me was INCREDIBLY kind. He let me know that there is zero inconvenience for me to pick the exact one that I wanted. The lady working the cashier (his wife?) was also super friendly. The service alone is reason to come back. Helps that the steak was INCREDIBLY tasty and well-priced too. I won't be going anywhere else again."

"Great deli with very friendly people behind the counter. The pastrami on sourdough was so tasty, as was the Italian on a hoagie roll. The sandwiches are big enough for two meals and fairly priced. This would be a great place to pick up a picnic lunch to take to the park. We will definitely be back!"

"Stumbled upon this place one day while walking along clement looking for lunch and was not disappointed. This a small butcher and deli run by A.L. the cutest lady ever who provides really fast, friendly and amazing service. This is definitely a well liked locals spot and you can tell by all of the people who come in to say hi to the owner and she seems to remember everyone that comes in. This is the kind of place I’m always looking for in the city. Friendly, no frills, amazing food and services. Makes you feel at home. This review is for the sandwich Had the AK combo. Nothing crazy special about this sandwich but the ingredients are super fresh and the sandwich was made hot and delicious. Loved how much peppers she put on the sandwich for me. This is a great find and will definitely be making this one of my usual neighborhood sandwich spots."
