About the Business
Macedo's Mini Acre is a unique institution located at 11175 Golf Link Road in Turlock, California. We specialize in creating alpaca dryer balls and core spun rug yarn using YOUR fiber! If you have stockpiled fiber that you're not sure what to do with, we can help turn it into beautiful items to sell at events like Farm Days, Tours, and Holidays. We only require that your fiber is good, clean, and at least 2 inches long with no burrs or fecal matter.
In addition to creating products from your fiber, we also offer tours of our facility for groups of 10 to 25 people. Reservations are required, and the cost is $20 per person (ages 2 and up). We also offer classes on fleece preparation and spinning, as well as the opportunity to try out spinning wheels before making a purchase.
For those interested in crafting, we offer classes on dyeing fiber, creating felted soap or trivets, and knitting with Suri alpaca fiber. These classes can be booked for groups of 4 to 10 people and are a fun way to learn new skills and create unique handmade items.
At Macedo's Mini Acre, we have a diverse herd of beautiful and colorful alpacas that call our farm home. Come visit us and learn more about these amazing animals and the products we create from their fiber!

"Came for a paint session. It was alot of fun. The alpacas roamed around us while we painted. That morning a baby was born so that was exciting to see a newborn. Maureen the owner, even had a little shop on site that was cute. Lots of alpaca related items. Would love to go back again and take my kids to see the animals one day."
