"This place is a godsend. Clean rooms, top notch management and it's safe. The occupants are nice too, trouble makers don't last long. They give Lysol to guests to make sure things are clean. Part of me wants to run a hotel too so I could help people the way the management here helps the community. Blessings friends."

"I love it here at the la brea hotel. Before any room, I choose to come to this room. Me and my boyfriend stay a couple of nights just to get a piece of mind and to relax. Nobody bothers you, they give you clean towels, and all the necessities that you need. Cable is a plus and there is free parking. Sometimes when I don't have enough money they work with you and they are courteous to people who are in need of help. Can't beat that."

"The owners are very nice. The rooms are nice sized. The people that stay there are very loud. There are no bathrooms in the rooms but they are in the hallway, which can be unsafe. It is not a smoke free zone. Only stayed 1 night would not go back. If you want a quiet, breatheable sleep this is not the place you want to go. My mom got bit up by either fleas or bed bugs so make sure you check the beds."

"Great price management is very polite and respectful, most of the time it is very quiet, could be a little cleaner in the hallway, however the people renting the rooms should keep it up as well. Maid does a beautiful job however it doesn't stay that way for long...overall this is a very decent place to get away from the riff-raff of other places... thanks management for the pleasant experience.. would definitely recommend to others..."
