Motel 6 Monterey Park, CA

"I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is perfectly close to downtown Los Angeles without being in downtown Los Angeles. There is a gorgeous view of the mountains from the balcony. The staff are all incredibly nice and helpful"

"This motel 6 has to be the worst we have ever stayed at. The motel is very old and in need of a major remodel. The room was dirty. The bedding was not clean and had dog park marks all over it. The floor was dirty and not in good condition. Also when you stepped in certain locations of the room you could feel the floor indent. This did not feel remotely safe. There were missing covers to outlets and the bathroom fan did not work. We checked out after about an hour and went to a different motel and just took a hit on the price we paid for this terrible room. We stay at Motel 6 often and in different locations but this was by far the worst one. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"You get what you pay for, but I really wish the bed sheets were not as stained as they were. I wish the room was cleaned better before our arrival; There was something smeared on the main light switch when you first entered the room. There was sticky stuff on BOTH knobs to turn the water on to the sink. Also, I wish there were nonslip mats in the shower. Being disabled, I did not feel safe nor comfortable enough to take a shower without my fiancé within arms reach. The people at the front desk were super friendly though, so that was a plus (I suppose)."

"Honestly can't complain much for me personally! It's close for me and accommodating the last 3 times I've gone just to escape for fun with a friend and relax! I've had no bad experiences as of yet and I've been thankful!"

"I am always looking for budget friendly hotels. I am not picky and the people were nice. But there was no AC. There was a little but the room was stuffy. I think AC is an essential that is very important. Unfortunately there was no other rooms available and the people to fix it wouldn't come until tomorrow. I was sweating just laying down. So I left and spent more money than I wanted to. Very disappointed."
