"I would give it 5 stars but due to the fact that they charge for parking I am not going to do it. I think that's just not good. Also, the room had a water bottle that cost 6 dollars, I have been to less prestigious hotels and they offer complimentary water."

"This review is for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Torrance at 3701 Torrance Blvd. My husband and I stayed at the property for just over a month around December 2023. We wanted to leave a positive review of our experience. We had a studio apartment style room with full kitchen including dishes on the ground floor which was nice. It was facing the interior away from the parking lot, so the noise and foot traffic were minimal. It was plenty of room for two people with lots of storage space too. Comfy bed and pillows. The fireplace was a bonus. We especially appreciated the extensive free breakfast each morning. The variety was impressive: eggs, meats, waffles, oatmeal, cereals, fruit, muffins, bagels with many toppings. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub, but the area was well maintained when we walked by. The grounds were also well maintained with staff present frequently. We recommend this property."

"Room was nice, however we did not have hot water during our stay. They sent maintenance to turn up the temp on the water. It was warm long enough for me to rinse my shampoo out of my hair and went right back cold. We were only there sat and sun so we didn't call back to the office. Location was near the activities we participated in"

"Perfect location, a good area. The room was wonderful! two-room sweet with a loft. The front desk person, Patty was so helpful and sweet. I felt very welcome talking to her. I didn't try the free breakfast but my sister and her husband stayed here while her house was being remodeled and said it was great! The property is secure and VERY quiet, even though it's pet-friendly. The grounds are well kept and the laundry facilities on site were very helpful. The beds are comfortable and clean. There is a $300 deposit on suites that is refundable and it's been more than a few days since I've seen it returned but the website says 7-10 days so I'm not too worried about it. The ice maker in the fridge gave about 8 ice cubes every two hours but that's menial. I had a great stay here and will stay again when in town."

"Impressed by the residence inn at this location. The service was great, the parking is gated and safe. The suite rooms are massive and clean. The breakfast buffet is also not bad and has a decent selection. The only thing giving this a 4 is the fitness room which barely has anything, and the price which can be costly. The location is also great to all the beaches. I'd stay here again no doubt."
