"my hair was originally below my chest, i asked for 4 inches off and showed her what 4 inches off is to me, and jill decides to cut to MY SHOULDERS. Jill was at the register and told me to sit in her chair with no direction. how am i supposed to know which one is her chair? So she probably saw my clueless face and responded with a short "first one to the left". I came in for a haircut and held where i wanted shortest piece to be and requested to add layers. Before she cuts my hair she says "got it. We're both on same page.". She had me turn my head to cut my hair, after she cut my hair on one side, i looked in the mirror, and told her it is a lot shorter than what i asked. This triggered her because then you can feel her negative energy and her rude comments began! She started insulting my hair left and right! Not ONCE did she apologized for cutting shorter than requested..she put the blame on my hair! Example of her insulting my hair was when i asked if she can make my "layers" in front more organic because it is very choppy...she gave me two lenghs/layers, a chunk being short in the front then all of a sudden long. there is no gradual flow to it. she responds with "well it's because your hair doesn't flow so there's no way to cut it flowy". What?! That doesnt even make sense. Another insult, She asked me why is my hair so dry and frizzy. What professional stylist asks that?! I have wavy hair so i brushed it before i came so there wouldnt be knots. If i just do a cut and not a wash, they still cut my hair wet, never dry. She's the first stylist i know who only cuts female hair dry. She tried making small talks then would again insult me. Her minions, Irena and shanell, who didn't even see my hair from the start because their chairs are on the other side of the wall and they had clients, came over by us and looked at my hair. They didnt say a word to me and started hyping Jill up that my hair is so much better than before, that my hair needed that large length of cut, etc. How would you know what my hair needed if you didn't even see my hair?? All you heard was me telling Jill she cut way more than asked! Oh and her excuse to cutting more than asked without communicating it to me was "it was just spaghetti strands left" which is why she chopped it all, even though she knew how short i was willing to go. After Jill was "done" with my hair and I looked at it, i told her I wanted layers (like I already told her when I sat in her chair). She slickly responded with "oh I didn't know if you still wanted me to because I don't want to be blamed for all of your hair gone and you thinking i went edward scissorhands on you". Well Jill, you should of thought of that when you chopped way more than requested. How do you NOT cut my hair from requested and cut what was NOT requested? When we checked out, (we were waiting for register so there's another stylist, their client, us, then a family that walked in behind us) Jill felt the need to say in front of clients and her minions "is your hair brassy? Did you intended for it to be?". Of course one of her minions laughed!!! 1. Idc if hair is your profession, theres things to keep to yourself. 2. I was at your chair for how long and you felt the need to say it now that we're in front of a crowd? 3. What was the purpose of asking me? Had she taken accountability for cutting more than i asked, rather my hair needed it or not, it was her response when i mentioned it and her no communication to me that she was going to cut more than asked that made my experience here HORRIBLE. I'm sure nothing will come of this review as I know they're desperate need of help (she was openly talking bout this in front of me to another stylist) so they'll keep her poor service and she'll never be held accountable. She needs training on customer service, taking accountability, and learning current trends. How does a stylist not know what curtain bangs are when they've been the most requested and talked about cut since 2020?! Read the reviews; someone there is cutting more than asked."
