"Beautiful after the storms — the paved Nimitz trail shows more wear and erosion the farther north you go, but definitely walkable and bikeable on skinny tires for 2 miles. The view west was mostly foggy (San Pablo Bay, GG Bridge, Mr Tam), but to the East we saw Mt Diablo rising above the fog. We parked all the way back at Quarry, maybe 1/4 mile along the road, even though it was Super Bowl Sunday. Passes requires for some fenced-off EBMUD trails, but not Park trails."

"Fantastic views of the Golden Gate bridge and surrounding mountains on the Nimitz Trail hike I did at Inspiration Point. This is a paved trail that is fairly heavily travelled with walkers, bicyclists, strollers, dogs, families. It has a few steeper up and down slopes, but overall is a fairly easy hike."

"Great scenic place for a walking hike. Trail is easy - most of it is paved and relatively flat. But, on a clear day you have a great view of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, and much of the bay. Trail is dog friendly. As a side note, if you walk far enough you’ll stumble on the remains of some old Nike missile launch pads from the Cold War. Definitely recommended."

"It was fine. Learned about the flora and fauna of the hills. We hiked from Brazil room, and the trail was quite muddy going up. You can drive to the top and check out the views as well as take various trails around from there."
