"I’ve been a patient with Mequon Dental for years. I’m EXTREMELY disappointed in the way I was handled. I went in for a normal cleaning which I’ve done twice a year for YEARS now….So I know the procedures and steps the dental hygienist takes with each cleaning. This visit, they scheduled my cleaning with a TEMP dental hygienist. She didn’t follow any of the normal procedures, I had to continue to ask for the saliva ejector, she barely spent anytime brushing and flossing and the cleaning had to be every bit of 20 seconds lol….well that’s at least what it seemed like. I could just tell she didn’t take pride in her work, it was rushed and wasn’t the quality I’m used too. She didn’t take her time to really clean and get the plaque in front or in-between my teeth. Once I was able to look at my teeth, I still noticed plaque built up and asked her to go over those areas with the excavator dental tools…She went over those areas quickly and I noticed some off in the areas and asked her to scrap once more…she did and the plaque came off…the results weren’t quality like I’ve ALWAYS gotten from Mequon Dental. So Extremely Disappointed, I connect with Susan. She immediately states that I have two cleanings per year which confused me because….why would I need to use my second cleaning for this visit??? A temporary hygienist was hired on that didn’t provide quality work. I informed Susan my current insurance was ending May 31,2022 due to new employment so if I did have to pay for ANOTHER cleaning due to the horrible quality they would need to get me in ASAP. I express my concerns and that I wasn’t satisfied. I informed her that I wanted another cleaning by a more professional experienced hygienist who can provide me with quality service. Susan stated she would connect with me after she talks things over with her office manger. My appointment was on May 3rd, 2022. Weeks and weeks go by no contact at all from Mequon Dental. I call the office May 24th, 2022 to connect with Susan. She still has to have a conversation with her office manager….meaning to me that she never took my concerns to the office manager in the first place. Long story short Mequon Dental’s only option was for Dr. Below to examine the work and we’ll go from there…which was fine but they didn’t have any availability whatsoever. They should’ve stayed late, called in another hygienist anything to accommodate me for this inconvenience and heart breaking experience. I never got my quality cleaning I paid for instead I feel ripped off. They got my money but didn’t provide the quality service I paid for. Very disappointed in the way this was handled. I can’t believe this experience…"

The office professionals are welcoming and walk through treatment plans, they run preauthorizations and always follow up. It is the best dentist office I have gone to, and I have been to many and have had many procedures."
