"This is such a wonderful place to stay. It is fairly close to town but far enough away and in the middle of vineyards so as to give a great wine country feel. They treat you great. Having wine and snacks under the oak trees out back is a great way to wind down for dinner. We will definitely be back."

"While we stayed here many moons ago, it was so memorably wonderful that we still strongly recommend for those who are looking for an upscale bed & breakfast luxury Inn in the middle of a wonderful working vineyard....which has great wine BTW. This individual rooms, beds, and baths are stellar. The breakfast is excellent and the evening snack is quite nice. It is also within walking distance of dozens of other wine tasting areas. Since there are few to no 4 star places to stay within hundreds of miles, this is the best you can get at any price. When we were there, we did not live on the central coast, but in Long Beach...so this was a treat. We now live in the nearby 5 Cities area, and I still think that this is really up there with the best and I have stayed in hundreds of places in dozens of states/countries ranging from Hotel 9 to the Ritz to beyond that in tons of luxury places in Hawaii since we also lived there for over a decade. While the views are of the loving vineyards, it is really a short drive to the Coast to see marvelous ocean views from Ragged Point Inn down to Los Osos & beyond toward Guadalupe, CA. On Fridays, there is a 2PM Farmers Market in Cambria. On Saturdays you have the 9-12Noon FM in nearby Templeton, as well as, a huge FM in SLO in the Madonna Plaza the very same morning. Lovely organic Mount Olive Farms is not far. Paso itself does have some decent eats. Day trips can include the Carrizo plains, the Pozo area, Morro Bay/Los Osos Coast, Avila/Pismo/Grover area, Guadeloupe Dunes, AG/Lopez Lake/Edna Wine area, and of course some history in SLO itself. We have lived & explored the area for several years and always can find some road less traveled. In general, the towns & cities right near Paso do not much to offer except for specialty items/events."

"It's located on the vineyard within walking distance of the tasing room. Great beds. Great views. Great appetizers and wine. It is everything I expected. Five out of five"

"Perfect in every way. 4 rooms that are refreshing, comfortable and huge. designed with great bedding, a walk in shower and tub with lovey touches of the country-but not too much! the hickory wood floors, the penny tile shower-there is no detail not thought about. Afternoon appetizers could have been dinner. Then a pistachio panna cotta when we came home. Across the street the winery is lovey and we joined their club. Gave us an added bonus of 20% off our room, great taste. Too bad it was only for 1 night. We will definitely go back."
