"So disorganized and rude. The host lost our booking, double booked someone else in our room and then blamed us for their mistake. We booked through Vrbo well in advance for this trip. We messaged the host, Amy, through Vrbo prior to arrival, but didn't receive a response. We awoke the next morning to a man jiggling the handle of this studio unit where we were sleeping trying to get in...alarming to say the least. Our attempts at a peaceful morning listening to the birds & photographing the wildlife were ruined when we found ourselves dealing with multiple "visitors" (co-hosts, grounds staff....) trying to figure out why we were there. Finally one of the staff was able to reach Amy by phone. Immediately she blamed us for the error saying she has someone else booked to stay that night. We were told we had no booking, then we canceled our booking, then our booking was for another date....although she clearly had no idea what the situation was, I could barely get a word in. We understand that mistakes happen, but as business owners ourselves, we were appalled at the lack of courtesy and professionalism. After paying over $300 a night, we were treated as squatters. I asked multiple times for the wifi password so I could provide my booking information as there is no service. Although Amy never provided it, her staff did and I was able to text her all of our confirmation information proving we had booked & paid for the reservation, but I never received a response. I sent her an email, never received a response. I don't know if the other family they had to rehouse because they overbooked received an apology, but we haven't."

"This bed and breakfast is no longer a B&B as advertised, but rather, is now managed by a local vacation rental company and is essentially an AirBnB. Wish we had known this - we booked through the B&B's website in February, but by the time of our trip Easter weekend that website was defunct/no longer worked. When we asked to have breakfast comped since that's what we paid for in February, we were told we could get a 10% discount or a refund - one night before a holiday weekend when booking anywhere would have been impossible without paying a fortune. As business owners ourselves, we found this level of customer service disappointing, especially as we were talking about just a breakfast for two people. So not worth the more than $300/night we paid for one room in a glorified AirBnB that didn't have an oven/stove or pans etc to prepare food. Breakfast was not provided/available, though there is a cafe across the way you can visit to pay for coffee and breakfast food in theory (however, it was never open when we tried to go - wasn't open by 9:30am either morning we were there. Seems there are no set working hours). Couldn't take a hot shower unless we ran the kitchen tap continuously, fireplace didn't work until a repairman came to fix it (promptly, to their credit), and walls are paper thin so husband and I and our 7 month old daughter were awakened and kept up for a few hours by guests and their dog in the upstairs room. That said, the bed was very comfortable, the place is well decorated and the surrounding grounds are beautiful. Very close to many great wineries. On the whole would not recommend staying as it's not what you think you're getting - definitely not an inn, and definitely not a B&B. We are avid travelers and this is one of the more misleading places we've ever stayed at."

"The property is rustic, charming, clean and perfectly located for visiting the best wineries and restaurants.. just perfect for the rural setting!!! Amy and Tom could not have been more hospitable and caring for our comfort and experience while in Paso Robles. They gave recommendations of wineries, restaurants, walking paths....and Amy even made lunch reservations for us one of the days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay complete with healthy and delicious breakfast every morning left for us in our room. We will absolutely be back!!"

"We stayed here for our anniversary. Host are very friendly and make you feel like family. They also very knowledgeable of the local wines and wineries and helped us to find the exact type of wineries we were interested in. The location is set in the countryside but close enough to DT Paso wineries, dining, and shopping. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee while watching nature. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well kept. We will definitely comeback."

"What a beautiful place! We spent our anniversary weekend in 'the room with a view'. Everything in the room was great and we enjoyed breakfast in the sun on our deck with birds chirping all around. At night we had wine by a bonfire under the stars. The location is very convenient to the west side wineries. Amy and Tom went above and beyond to make our stay special. I highly recommend a stay with them if you're visiting Paso!"
