"When I had my teeth regularly cleaned, Dr. Crusey suggested a tooth crown. So I made an appointment for the tooth crown on Nov 28, 2023. After the temporary tooth crown, I started to experience tooth pain. I had to take a pain reliever before going to bed. I thought the pain would be gone after one or two days. I was wrong. The third day, my tooth still hurt. I decide to call the doctor. But I found out that New Berlin Gentle Dentistry closes on Friday. It was very hard to eat and brush my teeth. I called Gentle Dentistry on Monday, Dec 4, which was the sixth day after my temporary crown. I told the receptionist that my tooth still hurts, and it has been six days. She went to talk to the doctor. Soon, she came back to me and said, the doctor said I should call back on Wednesday. She was very, very nice, and sorry for the tooth pain. On Wednesday, I called again. This time, the doctor said, at this point, he can't do anything; he wants me to see a specialist. I was very frustrated. I endured the pain and waited for many days. Now I must see a specialist. So, I said, "Who will pay me to see a specialist?' Then I was told I could come to see the doctor at 12:30pm. During the office visit, Dr. Crusey did some trimming on my tooth and gave me a bottle of antibiotic mouth water. After coming back home, I still did not feel better. The tooth pain was getting worse and worse. I had to take two pain relievers before going to bed. Next morning, which was Dec 7, I called Gentle Dentistry. I asked them what kind of specialist I should go to see. At this point, they started connecting with a specialist and sent my dental records to them. On Dec 18, I had a root canal from a specialist. Because I had a tooth crown, my dental insurance benefits are all finished. I had to make the full payment for the specialist. Finally, I spent almost $2,000 for this tooth crown. It was not only a terrible toothache experience but also a financial nightmare."

"New Berlin Gentle Dentistry has provided excellent dental care for Tom and me for 10 years, way back when Dr Fox was active there. All the dentists and hygienists are excellent. They are friendly, and very capable. They have the latest equipment, and comforts like a vibrating chair. They print out the bill beforehand so cost is made clear. They accept medicare and most dental plans. If abnormalities appear, they will give you a referral that you can use for your health plan’s specialist which happened to me."
