"i attended the creature concept design program back in october 2023 and it was an amazing experience! definitely learned a lot, and learned things that will be useful as a spfx makeup artist going forward with projects. i had two amazing instructors who were very knowledgeable and shared their own experiences as well which definitely helped me grow. my favorite part of the program was sculpting maquettes. i also really enjoyed learning about z brush with jarett fajardo. i would definitely recommend checking out all the programs here if you’re interested in being a professional makeup artist/special fx artist. i am definitely considering coming back in the future to take the severed head program."

"Overall I really enjoyed while I was in the school! You really do learn a lot from the instructors, and everyone there is so nice! They help you out, and if you just moved to LA, you can also get to make connections with other artists! But one little recommendation is that, since the school do take photos of your work that you can keep, make sure you're prepared for the props or out fits for your model(classmates), because you can really use them for your portfolio."

"CMS was a tough choice to make, but one I could not be more happy I made it. The staff was wonderful and supportive. They all knew their craft inside and out, they did a great job of relaying that information to prepare myself, as well as my classmates, for work in the industry. If I could do it all again, I would! Excited to see where the future leads me but hopefully it’s back to CMS every now and again."
