"Just dissatisfied with the staff. How they go about making choices that can effect a persons be life or death. I’m dissatisfied with the overall quality of our interaction with Epic care. They are pretentious. After we came to the clinic like 5 different times because the machine stop working. We had to go to 4 different locations. Just for them to decide the day before her appointment they will forfeit. Now we have to prolong the test. We are just trying to find a diagnosis. I would not recommend this place. Patient health is not first. !! It’s second to staffs personal opinion."

"My first visit was very easy going and pleasant. Dr Min Yan was very polite and professional. He listened to my concerns and questions and explained his answers in an easy to understand way. I feel very confident going through my future treatment with Dr. Yan and his team. Update: My continuing care from Dr. Yan and team will always be necessary. My most recent follow-up CT Scan a week ago was handled by Lacy who is so calm and confident in her caring for me through the whole process answering all my questions. I must highly recommend anyone looking for a great oncology team to see Dr. Yan!"

"Called to just get an iron injection, informed the lady on the phone that I don’t have insurance, I already did labs, I already spoke w a doctor. They were on a list of providers who provide this service. This lady only cares about money “the consultation alone is $350” “yea it’s $350” “and then you still need to pay for our services” it wasn’t even about the money but the way she spoke to me was assuming I couldn’t afford it. Although, that’s a ridiculous amount just for a doctor to tell me what another doctor already told me. To treat any patient this way is completely unacceptable."

"I was feeling very nervous about coming in for a serious procedure. Vera provided the best service that I have ever received. From the beginning she greeted me and was very friendly. She directed me to the changing room and gave me various gown options. She handed me my paperwork and was very kind when asking about my medical history. She showed knowledge and expertise while being genuinely concerned about my care. During my procedure she was very gentle and kept me well informed the entire time. She carefully explain everything to me while being calm and reassuring. I was even offered a warm blanket and headphones to listen to soft jazz. I felt relaxed and at ease throughout the whole procedure. I cannot be thankful enough that Vera gave me outstanding care and customer service. I highly recommend this location. It is a very clean and well maintained facility. The building also offers garage parking and street parking. Scheduling was also convenient and easy. I was able to get back home quickly and enjoy the rest of my day. Overall I had a great experience with Epic Care Emeryville."

"I have a friend who's being treated here. The place is really clean. They get you in at a timely manner. There have been a couple of mixups. Twice when they were going to do an MRI with contrast they neglected to provide the proper medication needed for the procedure. We had to reschedule two separate MRIs because of this. You think after the first time the second time they would remember or rectify the mistake of the first time. This was very disheartening and disappointing for my friend and I. We both made a special effort to be there on time and ready for the procedure. Which then we had to repeat the process two extra times. Not very efficient I would say."
