"Room was bright and nice! Breakfast is amazing especially their homegrown apple scones are the best ! friendly hosts! We took a peaceful stroll around in the morning , they have other unique stays too like water tower stay and all of them are built in spacious property making them more private , next time we will plan to stay in water tower if possible! Highly recommend!"

"This beautiful Inn is rich in history, surrounded by flowers and garden. Anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful place to kick back and relax, will love their stay. The homemade scones are fabulous. Kate, Ken and staff are personable, and accommodating, with great information about the area. Definitely a perfect place to stay when visiting Mendocino."

"My late husband and I were there four days in March of 2022 it was one of our last vacations we had before my husband would pass away in April this year from cancer. We had a wonderful time, the place was amazing the service was amazing The rooms were phenomenal. Everything was in walking distance to downtown Mendocino where there are all kinds of wonderful shops and places to eat. We found a really cute little Irish Pub on the corner where we ended up eating every night while we were there because the service and the food was so good! They make a wonderful little Continental breakfast at the Joshua Grindle which they serve out on the patio of the house main house. The grounds are full of beautiful gardens places where you can sit and relax there's a fire pit. It was just a really wonderful relaxing enjoyable experience. The owners are very nice very accommodating I only wish that we could have gotten back there one more time. I highly recommend that you stay there and have a look it's a wonderful place to be."

"This Bed and Breakfast was fantastic. Very easy parking on site, fast wifi, easy walking to the main town - we never needed to drive to do everything we wanted to. The rooms themselves were very clean and the beds were particularly comfortable. Very high quality sheets and mattresses led to a cozy night sleep. Breakfast is filling and fresh. We were able to enjoy different kinds of fresh baked scones every day with our food. The garden had so many wonderful flowers and was great to walk around and look at. We will be visiting again soon!"

"Absolutely perfect. My partner and I stayed in the Cypress South Cottage for a long weekend and it was very lovely. Very comfortable king bed, fireplace, jetted tub, robes, etc. It’s a relatively simple place, but has all the right touches to make it extra cozy and enjoyable. It’s also a great location, walking distance into town. The breakfast in the morning was certainly above our expectations (like others said, get the scones!) We met Lexi and Lucy who worked there, and they’re gems… Truly lovely people. I’m so thankful we settled on JG. We’ll be back!"
