"Brought my boys fishing from the shore. Would not recommend wasting your time with the shore fishing. Very little space to fish and the constant gunshots from the range is very annoying after about 10 minutes but what do you expect its a gun range. Ordered a couple kid cocktails the bartender and a couple locals were very friendly."
"Stopped in 2 days ago. I used to play softball for Hunters Nest so I thought I'd see if it changed much. We were hardly greeted by the bartender. A Google search showed that food was served a sign inside said " food served" but the bartender said they don't serve food. We decided to play the slot games while we waited for the rest of our party and bought 2 cans of soda. Put $5 in the machine then I asked the bartender if they paid out on the machines and she said it would take a week to be paid! She was so unfriendly we decided to leave. We called our friend and told her not to come. As we were leaving we heard the bartender say to the only other customer "I'm glad they didn't win anything." Used to be a fun place with friendly people . Not anymore. We will not be back"
"Didn't have enough time or daylight to make it out to where I usually shoot. Headed over here to site in my rifle before opening weekend. Small wait to shoot at 100 yards, but the gentleman outside the shooting box made good conversation and was quick and efficient at getting people in and out. It was reasonably priced ($15 bucks) and a quick in-and-out too— mission accomplished. Thanks Lakeview Rod and Gun Club/Hunter's Next! I'll be back again."
"Never been in the actual bar but they have a boat launch that we use every year for lake access. They have gun practice but I’ve never done that either. The launch is a bit small but will do just fine for our 16ft aluma craft boat. The launch has no dock but there are posts to tie your boat up on the land. Very recommended for lake access. I believe that year pass for boat launch is $30 and $7 daily. Prices may change any time so I cannot guarantee those prices."
"I like the place and I like the staff and drinks a reasonably priced. But they do not accept any payment other than cash, therefore they have a very, shady, privately owned ATM with an excessively High surcharge fee plus your bank if the like mine will charge you an additional fee. It cost me $5.50 to pull out a $20 bill. Then 24 hours later my debit card was hijacked and used in Las Vegas the next morning."
