"Sadly the owners of the property won't come to an agreement with Ralph Malicki and he announced on Facebook that the store is closing 1 March 2024 as of this writing. This is our preferred store and the community is losing a great store. He was very involved in the community. There was a weekly meeting for veterans tables/chairs/coffee/doughnuts. When many local small businesses has to close due to covid-19 he set up tables right in front of the doors with gift baskets & cards to help them, he asked the public during that time if they knew any local companies that made certain things to help them and give the public options. There's a lot of homes and apartments nearby and some are for older people and for them and many others it's walking distance or an easy bus ride. It was the main drop off point for Santa in a Box, he helped the fire and police departments to raise money and food donations. He also hired elderly and disabled people to help keep the store stocked and easy to shop, he's also there and knows a lot of customers BY NAME. The list goes on. People are livid about what's happening. It's not just losing a supermarket that he has owned for over a decade, but was there way before him. There's no other store of any kind that's done as much as he has to help the community. This store, the hardworking and 1 that I know of has been there 33 years (only 53) friendly employees, and Ralph Malicki will forever be missed. Hopefully he comes back soon, but it's doubtful."

"I have lived out here for almost 2 years. I always stop here when I need to shop. I have got to say I have never been treated so wonderfully or enjoyed shopping somewhere as much as I do here. You guys have a great team of employees that I became close acquaintances with. They are awesome people with great personalities and always helpful. It’s like a family there! And I never thought I would say that about a grocery store but here I am! Thank you guys for being so friendly and welcoming to your customers!"

"Called a head, I needed a deep dish pie crust. Associates were nice and helpful! I got the pie crust I needed and would definitely go back!"

"Since I was unable to sign uo for a Pig card online. I went in to the store to get a card. The lady at customer service was also running the express checkout line which already seems counter productive since you can't be express and customer service at the same time as you leave customers neglected. The one woman did try to acknowledge me, but 3 other staff members that came up saw me standing there? Walked right past and said nothing. They just kept helping new people who entered lines instead of myself who was standing there waiting patiently and trying to be understanding. Very poor experience for someone just trying to shop sales and unable to do so without waiting at the counter for a pig card. After over 10 minutes someone did finally help me. Don't see 10 minutes as a reasonable amount of time to wait at the customer service counter though."
