"Nice older store has quite the selection. Love the double smoked bacon, and it is amazing. Also, all the smoked meats are great. Everything is priced decent. Very friendly staff. Whenever I'm in the neighborhood, I stop by here and check out the specials. I was really disappointed when I visited the store recently. I was going to buy some bird food cakes. When I noticed Maggots falling out of one of the packages. By the time I was done shopping, I was told everything was cleaned up. So, as I was going to grab another pack, I still noticed maggots. I asked about it and was told everything was cleaned."

"I have worked across most of the US as a merchandiser, and I have never come across people like I have at Shadick's. Kind, helpful, laid back and more than friendly! The store is amazing, the staff is amazing. Very clean, easy to work around, ease of finding products. Pat, your staff is wonderful!!! Thank you to each of you at Shadick's!!"
