"My husband and I had recently dined out at The Farmstead for our anniversary. We both had the beef tenderloin dinners and they were outstanding as well as the coconut chicken curry soup I had. We arrived at the restaurant 4:45 pm and were seated right away. The service and the atmosphere was also outstanding. I think within a half hour after arriving the dining area was full so it must be a very popular place."
"Best steak around! Intimate setting, great for date night, low light, great drinks and even better food. Service is always top notch. Wait times are usually always long, very much suggested to get there early!"
"This building has some history, hence the name it’s an old farm house that now serves good food and drink. It is kind of a hidden place to those that do not know the area as it is tucked back in the lot amongst other businesses. The bar is small so be prepared to stand while you wait for a table. (Worth the wait) Kid friendly and they give a basket of toys for the kids to play with. Decent amount of parking."
"What a nice place!! What a great burger!! The garlic mashed potatoes were fantastic!! The service was good. The atmosphere was good. It's a smaller place. But cozy. The menu is just the right size. From steaks to fish and seafood. To burgers and salads. This place can be hard to find. It's 3/4 of a block off the main road. But you'll be happy when you do find it."
"They don't take reservations, even for a group of 8 on a Saturday night. Restraunt is not easy to find, next to townhouses in a paking lot. We arrived about 3:45 and were seared by 4:20. Most of the group order chicken dishes, an one has the walleye, and another the shrimp special. Served with choice of 7 layer salad, Ceasar salad or mushroom bisque. Also includes potato and sugar snap peas. The service was good. Food was delicious and fresh. By the time we left bar srea packed with folks having to wait for 1.5 - 2 hours. For that reason would not go back."
