"Your classic eastern Iowa tavern/restaurant. Located in the beautiful rolling hills of Clayton County. The draw here is the famous Gunder Burger. It’s huge and rather good. Actually the rest of the menu looks great too but we had to try the huge burger. Wait staff were pleasant and the service was fast. The place is clean including the restrooms. Worth the drive and you will enjoy the beauty of the verdant farmland"

"Not worth the drive. The hamburger isn’t anything special. The condiment bottles were greasy. Seriously the food is okay, just nothing great. The place looks clean for the most part, but the condition of the mustard and ketchup makes one suspect of the kitchen operations. We did enjoy the nice crispy fried mushroom appetizer which came to the table quickly. I won’t go back unless it was the only other dining option."
