"I have now used Thomsen Auto Repair for the second time in about 6 months. My first call to Dan was for an emergency as I lost my power steering on my 2007 Chrysler Aspen. He was able to obtain and replace the new power steering pump the next day. This time, the battery light on my 2004 Mustang was staying on. I took my vehicle in at closing time Tuesday night. Dan diagnosed the problem as a failed alternator on Wednesday morning, replaced the alternator, and had my car ready to be picked up that afternoon. The price was fair and I couldn't be happier with the speed of service that I have received. I would highly recommend calling Dan at Thomsen Auto Repair for any repair or service and will not hesitate to call him for any future service or repair on any of my vehicles."
"The dealership where I purchased a new vehicle thought it handled and drove as it should after they serviced it. The excessive road noise and twitching of the steering wheel continued. I was considering getting a different vehicle instead of waiting three more years as planned, but decided to have Dan take a look at it. "Dan is the only mechanic I’ve ever trusted to get the job done right the first time. He’s always willing to get the job done and help in anyway possible. Most recent service was for a vehicle I bought from a dealership in des moines that had a bad/slipping clutch. He was willing to come get it if I couldn’t make it home and when I did finally make it I took the vehicle straight to Dan (on Sunday). He fixed the problem and even worked with the dealership I bought it from so the repairs were covered and didn’t come out of my pocket. Fast, friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable. I wouldn’t take my vehicle anywhere else"
