"Open for another 3 hrs and lady working looked in the wrong spot for a part and didn't try asking anyone else for help but acted like she was trying to close. Very rude and unhelpful. Basically pushed out the door without what I needed."

"I always trust Advance for their quality parts, and their warrantys and usually find that the customer service is fantastic as well, however this location I can not say the same. The young man who "helped", I didn't get his name but he said he was training to be the store manager, was less than pleasant to deal with. I purchased a head light bulb about 10 months ago in Alabama and the bulb blew again this weekend. When I got the new one last time, at a location in Alabama they replaced the bulb for me. I came in to this location get a new one and he was fine with giving me a new one under warranty but only had a yellow bulb, my other bulb is white so that's not going to work. He said, after a search in the system that they no longer made singles in white. So I asked for him to open a 2 pack and give me one from there, he refused and said he would have to "figure something out" by talking with someone higher up than him. Well he talks to someone on the commercial side and they tell him to do exactly what I just suggested, but that they would need the old bulb back so they could apparently send it to the company to get a refund/credit. He asked if I had anyone who could help me replace the bulb and I said I did not, that the guys at Advance had done it last time. He refused to help me replace the bulb even after telling me that he worked in a mechanic shop. So he told me to find a place to have it replaced, Im am in town from Alabama on business and know no one here and no where to get it taken care of, I do know someone 3 hours away who I will be seeing on the weekend who can do it. I asked if it would be ok to get him the bulb back on the weekend, he said "nevermind Ill just eat the cost". So instead of this mechanic helping me replace the bulb so that he can get the bad bulb back he would rather be out money. I find it quite frustrating that he couldn't break the pack when I suggested it, but then that's what he is told to do by the people higher up than him, and then instead of him giving 5 minutes of assistance to help replace the bulb he would rather be out $40. Then, as I go out to my car, I watch him go out and begin working on the car of a male customer, a job which required him to break out power tools, but he couldn't help me change a headlight which only needed a screwdriver. So why is this guy ok with working on a man's car but refuses to do anything to help a lady, and multiple times throughout this process was trying to do the opposite of what the woman suggested but was later told to do what I suggested by his higher ups? This is really rather disturbing to see given the fact that he is training to be the store manager. I find this seemingly sexist behavior unprofessional and inappropriate of a person who is being trusted in the position he is being trusted with. Advance you have got to hire better than this."

"Left me High and dry without a battery. Said they didn't have enough time before close to put the new battery in my car when there was a good 40-50 minutes before the closing time. Had to jump my car to leave the parking lot. Not a good experience."

"Extremely helpful. Dominic F went above and beyond to help with my new battery. I definitely appreciate my experience and will come back when needed."

"It doesn’t leave a good impression when you hire out door dash drivers to deliver parts to garages for you and you don’t even give them a tip. The garage then informs me that they were told it was all figured out and included with the purchase/delivery."
