"I also was scammed in June 2022 when I purchased a chandelier online from “Bungalow ltdin Malibu. Curt Blackburn assured me chandelier was on way months after purchase and after visits to store and no return emails and calls he shuts down in Malibu. After a few months and talking to Malibu chamber commerce they notified me he re opened shop under new name Room Service in Agoura. Still no response. He is not listed as owner and therefore legal action can’t be taken I was told. Please don’t do business with Curt Blackburn. I’m out 2k and no a chargeback was not possible as it was not fraud it was a legit purchase online by me. Anyone have any other suggestions on how to proceed to hold him accountable? Btw he has several reviews under Bungalow LTD In Malibu with the same complaints. Unfortunately scamming people is his business as the new store is never open."

"I had the same experience as Nina. I ordered a chandelier for a client (I work for an interior design firm) on April 21, 2023. Curt Blackburn talked to me, assured me the lead time was mid-May and he charged our company credit card on that day, before confirming with me. I have tried endlessly to contact Curt by phone and email and am getting no response. I have filed a police report with our local jurisdiction and hope he gets caught and serves time for theft! Do NOT order anything from Room Service, RS Furnishings or Curt Blackburn as he is nothing but a crook who does not send the merchandise and does not respond to phone calls (voicemail) or emails. ZERO STARS!"

"Do not purchase anything from Curt Blackburn or RS Furnishings. This man is an unethical thief who will steal your money and not supply the merchandise you purchased, or return calls or emails. Buyer beware!!"
