"What’s really frustrating is when a store owner talks you into buying something, they tell you it has a lifetime guarantee, and if you have any issues bring it back to the store and they will replace. Unfortunately I found out today this is untrue. We purchased a Swiss diamond fry pan during pandemic. After using for 8 months the screw fell out of the handle and handle fell off pan. We tried to screw the handle back on but the bolt attaching it to pan was completely stripped. We have never tightened the bolt so it was obviously stripped when installed and worked its way out. Instead of replacing pan like promised we were told to contact the manufacturer. “They are so helpful”. Then why aren’t you as a shop owner when selling items that are defective and don’t last also “so helpful”. Having a pan less than 2 years when I’ve had target pans for 20 that don’t fall apart. You most certainly don’t expect a Swiss diamond pan that you pay $100+ for an 8 inch fry pan would fall apart after being used 20 times total. And if it does. Yes. You expect the shop owner too do what they promised and replace it."
