"Childtime was recommended by a family member who has been utilizing their service for a couple of year now. We started using them as they had some good selling points (ie smaller classes, dependable teachers, app for updates, etc.) and based on the recommendation. My son seeemed to transition well in the infant room (under 2’s) although was transitioned to the 2-3 age classroom after a couple of months in the infant room. The change was unfortunately not great as the class sizes in the new room drastically changed with the class routinely being at capacity (12 kids to 1 teacher, with no aid to assist or assist rarely). Not only was the class at capacity but many times over capacity or with a mixture of 2 classes in 1 small room. Not an ideal situation for the kids, teachers or parents. We observed and were asked by the school director to ensure we called or messaged the school if our son was not going to be attending so they can adjust their teachers accordingly (ie so they always keep them at capacity and give people less hours). NO! We are not paying you so that you can call teachers off work because they don’t have a full class. We pay the service regardless so this was a ridiculous request from my point of view. The teachers in the 2-3 seemed ok however fluctuated during the first couple of months until a full time teacher was found. The teacher was great and was one of the only saving graces for Childtime although we could tell she was extremely overworked. Our son started displaying delays with speech and we started him on Speech and ABA therapy to assist with his continued development. Once we shared that our son was doing speech and ABA the Childtime director (Ms Irene) began to request documentation on our son’s medical records, dr notes, etc. and compared his speech delay to Epilepsy on multiple occasions. No, Epilepsy is not the same as a speech delay!!! We discussed his status on multiple occasions with Ms Irene and unfortunately she displayed very little knowledge of what she was actually requesting or what Chidtime actually needed to further assist with our son’s speech delay. We mentioned that nothing was being requested from their end besides utilizing simple words with our son. The director was very pushy with her requests and was not comfortable at all when speaking with us. We obviously had continued concerns due to all items listed and began the search for a new school/daycare. We also had a qualified individual come to observe our son at Childtime and the results were unbelievable. As we suspected, the school is short staffed and the children are not being properly supported for success. We were basically told that they would not recommend ANYONE use Childtime especially not for a child who has specific needs (ie speech). We were looking for a school and not a place to board our son! We have now left Childtime and could not be happpier. We are at a school now were the 2-3, 3-4 yr old classes have a total of 7 kids to 1 teacher and they have an aid!!! And the cost is very similar!!! Our son could not be any happier and is showing improvement in all areas as aposed to moving backwards at Childtime! If you are still at Childtime... RUNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!! PS My son does not have a mom and was forced to complete the Mother’s Day project? Everyone at the school was aware of his circumstances but we still got a Mother’s Day laminated card that made it straight into the trash! Also, the rooms smelled of mold and likely helped with the high number of sick days my son underwent from that school. Finally, they actually employ aids who do not change diapers. So your child may be going potty and may not be changed right away if this specific aid is watching them in the 2-3 or 3-4 class rooms. Kinds of a joke to hire someone like that!"

"after looking at 7-8 daycare centers we ended up going with Childtime of garden grove for our then 4 month old baby. Best decision ever. Can not think of a more caring and sweet group of teachers. They are experienced, loving, patient, and treat you like family. Definitely recommend."

"It seems almost all the reviews of this place is pretty nice. Well, that wasn't our experience. It started out great, they were helpful and explained a lot, and accommodating we thought, and it is not cheap folks. Their friendly approach was not so great as soon as we committed to sign our son. We had to take him out due to illness, and when we went back to get his items back, they lost some of his bedding items, and didn't even care to replace them or anything. The director, basically said, "I am so sorry about that." I paid this place $162.00 for a total of 8 hours a week. That's a lot of money for me. $54.00 for less than 4 hours a day and only two days a week. I provided all his food my self, due to his allergy, etc. There was one sweet young lady, Daniela, I think her name was, who paid adequate attention to him and the others didn't even check if he ate enough, and didn't do their information report properly, so I couldn't see what he ate or what he didn't like, etc. The minute I put him in the car, he would ask me..., " Yum Yum mommy", and this just broke my heart every time. The price would not have bothered me, had the result been excellent. Anyway, good luck parents."
