"I am the father of 2 children at this school. They both started at Kindergarten and one is currently in 5th grade. After seeing the full cycle from K-5 I can confidently say this school is terrific. My biggest fear was that because I don't speak Spanish that I would struggle to help my children but the interesting part is that my kids picked up Spanish quickly enough that they were able to translate the homework for me so I could help them with Math, Social Studies, etc. And with web tools like Google translate I can check their vocabulary pretty easily. If having a 2nd language is important to you (or just having a rock solid elementary school) then I highly recommend this school. I had to transfer my kids to this school since we live outside their boundaries and it has been worth the extra miles back and forth. I have also been there through 2 different principals / leadership teams and although they are different from each other in many ways their commitment to the children and the program is remarkable and felt through every part of the school. No, it is not a magical place with rainbows and unicorns all the time, it is a real school with real students and real teachers and the challenges that go along with elementary school but the focus is always on teaching and preparing children. The bonus: The on-campus ESS program - Love! Love! Love! their leader and team. They give me complete comfort that my children are cared for and their management of the children after school and during summer break is wonderful. They are well organized and good communicators and help with homework as well."
