JCC Preschool San Rafael, located at 210 North San Pedro Road in San Rafael, California, offers high-quality early childhood education programs for children aged 18 months to five years. Our dedicated educators create engaging indoor and outdoor spaces that spark curiosity, wonder, and social connections. We recently opened a new campus in the Strawberry District at 36 Tiburon Blvd, offering spacious play areas and new classrooms for children aged two to five years.
Rooted in Jewish tradition and values, our curriculum fosters empathy, compassion, and a lifelong love of learning. We celebrate Jewish rituals and holidays while welcoming families from all backgrounds. Our values-based approach is guided by the Sheva framework, emphasizing the importance of relationships, potential, and responsibility in early childhood education.
At JCC Preschool, teachers support children's social and emotional development through play-based learning and intentional interactions. We follow a social constructivist curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, promoting exploration, experimentation, and collaboration in a safe and supportive environment. Our teachers are highly qualified professionals with a focus on ongoing professional development and individualized support for each child.
Enrollment is open to all children, regardless of faith or cultural background. We offer full-time programs for all age groups with a focus on toileting independence and social skills development. Families are encouraged to communicate openly with teachers and collaborate with outside specialists as needed to support their child's unique needs.
Our commitment to health and safety protocols, including those recommended by Marin County Public Health, ensures a safe and nurturing environment for all students. Scholarships are available for eligible families, supported by the Morris Stulsaft Foundation and the Jewish Community Foundation.
