"Owner is close minded and rude. Selection is inferior and basic, poorly curated as it looks like it would be. All the booze is baking in the sun… Overpriced for what it is, marked up 30% from regular retail. Skip it. BevMo is close by."
"I moved to SF 10 years ago, and this place always caught my eye when I would occasionally drive by on Pine or Polk Street. I never stopped in because I lived in the sunset. I moved to Pac Heights about a year ago and started frequenting this store, and I seriously regret not seeking this place sooner. The whiskey collection is second to none, and the owner has a wide variety of other spirits and wines. He is extremely knowledgeable (especially on the whiskey) and sells well below what you will find in other stores. I've had nothing but great experiences here, and the customer service is excellent. I would give 6 stars if I could."

"Rude owner. The guy needs anger management therapy. He has always been impatient and rude, but after my last experience with him I am done. Jug Shop maybe a few blocks down the street but the guys there are wonderful."
"I came in for a very quick decision since my husband was waiting outside, and wanted some recommendations on Napa Valley wine that was not too sweet and not too dry so my husband would also enjoy it. The man who greeted me was on point and gave me 2 wines he recommended. One was The Turley 2018 Zinfandel, and the other for a great price was the 2016 Castle Rock Winery Cabernet Sauvignon. I wish I asked for the gentlemans name, since he was very knowledgeable and prompt with his assistance!"
