"And I'll tell you exactly why it's worthy of a two hour drive. I had a friend come to town that is on a tight budget and still insists on paying for half. This old pal wanted to go on an old school picnic overlooking the river, and everything we could imagine was right there at the Oxbow Cheese & Wine Shop. A vast selection of quality products that are reasonably priced. 5 stars all day long.☆☆☆☆☆"
"The lady was incredibly helpful and sweet. We chose a bottle from their 30 and under bin. Told her what type of wine we wanted to enjoy with lunch and she helped us choose one(local). We got two glasses and enjoyed it with out lunch. Took the rest home."

"Expensive for the quantity. I wasn’t asked what cheese I preferred nor was I told what 3 cheeses had been chosen for me. Saying that, I did enjoy the hard cheese, but not the Brie as I don’t eat Brie at all. Grilled cheese sandwich was good and filling, pickles, crisps and grapes on the side. While we were perusing and ordering all of the staff were standing around eating cheese and other bits, I know they should know their products but surely training should be done after hours. Looked pretty unprofessional."
