"If 'Quiet Quitting' was a lawyer. John stole my money and breached the initial contract we agreed to THE VERY FIRST TIME WE SPOKE ON THE PHONE AND REPEATEDLY AFTERWARDS. He made a stipulation IN COURT so it would be documented in the notes all of a sudden that this would complete his involvement.. which was NOT the agreement we had made... my parents fronted me $5000 to see this through to the end so I could get my life back on track. He met me in court twice and refuses to file the necessary paperwork to complete the process on my behalf. He stole not only from me, but from senior citizens who paid on my behalf. That's a felony, John! Didn't he learn about elderly financial abuse in law school!? I wouldn't have given the okay to my parents to pay, if he didn't CLEARLY say he'd help me navigate this through to the very end SEVERAL TIMES. I had 100 numbers I could still call. He's a crook. He'll smile to your face and talk smack behind your back. Very arrogant energy, and made me feel even more horrible than ever.. didn't explain the legal process to me well ever.. just kind of a 'just be quiet'. Well, I was quiet and he tried to pull that one over on me. Although in court, I was like, 'wait what?' And he just quickly said, "Oh I'll explain that to you later.. I just have to say that now".. well, it was pretty darn self-explanatory and he didn't explain further later either. Really rough. Just a terrible, crooked lawyer to me... we paid him THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS and the man wouldn't even say hello when he came in the courtroom. DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$! I know I effed up, but I thought he could tell that I am a good person actually who effed up bc of extreme circumstances, or I wouldn't have ever hired him! He was a jerk. I would not recommend to anyone. John Holbus is a crook!"
