"This review is for the CVS in Malibu. This pharmacy is a complete train wreck. I try hard to be patient and supportive, having worked in retail many years ago. However, this his place is just incompetent. Full stop. Go anywhere but here."

"The manager Phil was super kind! Allowed public use of the bathroom for many patrons who weren’t buying items, which I appreciated. The store was very clean and well stocked."

"As a local PA, I rely on prompt and professional communication with pharmacies to ensure that patients receive their medications in a timely manner. I contacted the pharmacy to confirm receipt of a prescription fax for a patient who urgently needed their medication. To my dismay, I was greeted not with assistance but with a confrontational response from the pharmacist on duty, Ray. Ray stated in a raised voice "you tell the doctor not to send faxes anymore, we ONLY take e-script". We send faxes to CVS pharmacies all over LA, OC and Ventura counties with no problem. So, when I inquired further, seeking clarification and assistance for my patient (who was present in the pharmacy at the time), Ray instructed me not to send a fax again and then hung up on me. This interaction was heard by the patient and, presumably, other customers in the pharmacy. It is disheartening to witness such a display of unprofessionalism from a pharmacist, whose role is critical in patient care coordination. There are several other pharmacies in the area that are much better options - Dume Pharmacy would be my personal recommendation."

"Shopping on a Sunday night, noticed not many employees on duty. CVS is currently undergoing a walk-out, so that's understandable. Manager at self-checkout was friendly. However.... Guest bathroom was a nightmare. Absolutely FILTHY, with zero ventilation. Worse than the worst gas station bathroom -- Disgusting floor, messy toilet, and walls covered in graffiti. Appeared rarely maintained, if ever. Ceiling exhaust fan is no longer working, and grill is clogged with what looks like years of dust/debris. Horrid."

"Had an appointment for a vaccine. Went to check in. You know when the A team is there….. well apparently the B team wasn’t available either, nor the C team. The z team was working as hard as their limited cerebral capacity would let them function. Apparently they had a system glitch that meant no vaccine Did they give a damn? NO They just said make a new appointment No, sorry, no nothing. Not even eye contact The pharmacy staff sucked tonight"
