"This was one of my favorites to come to for 20 years. This is first time I have had the chance to stay here since Jan 2019. It’s sad that they closed up the lounge and restaurant drained the pools and the fish pond as all those things was what made this a special place. It has really gone down because they don’t care no more. It wouldn’t be that hard to bring this place back and make it a wonderful place again. But as speaking with the manager as he said California politics and taxes are destroying them. You guys have always been great. I wish you guys the best. Y’all come to Texas"

"Came to this place for the truck parking. Had I not needed to park my truck somewhere I definitely would not have stayed here. Definitely the hardest bed I've ever laid in, the bathroom is disgusting and falling apart. The front door has pencil doodles all over it. Definitely don't recommend staying here. This is the first review I've done on a hotel.... never been in one so bad."
