"This company is stealing our tax return money!!!!!!! THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST BANK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! I got my tax return deposited onto my account after that I use my card for about two days before they blocked my account for suspicious activity and said I had to send in a picture of my ID and that they needed to verify my account. Mind you this is the same account that I’ve been using to receive my direct deposits from my job And I almost use this card every single day!! Well, they told me that they couldn’t verify my ID and they close my account and told me that I would be receiving a check in the mail for the remaining balance that was in my account. I just called them yesterday and now they’re saying that I need to contact the originator of my refund check That doesn’t even make sense because the check was already deposited and I already spent money from that refund check. Now they’re saying that they can’t send me out a check until i contact the originator of the tax refund check to have it reversed !!!! This makes absolutely no sense to me. These people have almost $6000 of my money and will not give it to me. This is ridiculous!!!!! Someone please tell me what I can do about this????!!!!!"

"Would rate this horrid company negative stars. Blocked my card for absolutely no reason with all of my money on it. Giving me the run around as to why, claiming I didn't answer security questions correctly when I was never asked any. I never requested a new card from them yet they sent one out anyway to an address I haven't used in four years. Now they tell me I might be able to receive a new card at my correct address in up to ten days but will not allow me access to my money to pay my rent or buy food for my son. Now we will have an eviction notice Monday in the middle of winter even though I HAVE THE MONEY!"

"My gift cards for my grandchildren were lost. When I contacted Visa Green Dot and provided them all the requested information I was told that my money would be returned to my debit card within two days. I was given a claim number. I followed up about a week later and was told that the claim number given was not a valid number, and then given another number. When I followed up on that claim number I was told that the case was closed because they did not receive the requested information, but that was incorrect because the information was provided twice. If I don't get satisfaction I will have my daughter announce this to her followers and warn them not to purchase Visa gift cards because of their lack off help and poor customer svc. After seeing these reviews it seems that Visa is frauding its customers. Perhaps a class action lawsuit is needed."

"If I can give a negative 10 stars on this I will! Worst company ever! Me and my husband have a family account, well they did a computer error and made me the primary on both accounts and when my husband set up his corporate direct deposit from his job of 14 years they decided to close and permanently block our accounts due to unusual activity. No phone call or emails regarding this matter and they decided to just say screw it and close the accounts. It has been almost 2 weeks now and they won’t release our money to us and they screwed our family Christmas. We had to borrow money from family just to feed the kids! During hard times like we are living now in the economy, hard working family’s rely on every dollar they have. Well thanks to green dots wonderful customer service from India, we will be struggling even more now. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS! Take your money and put it in your pillows where it’s safer than green dot! BBB and FBR have been notified and now looking for a lawyer to handle this case! All this emotional stress and damage your company has caused me and my family! Hope it’s worth it for your company to steal from hard working people in the world!"

"I NEED MY MONEY Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a company. Terrible customer service. Hours and hours on the phone being transferred to wrong departments and hung up on or put back in the starting que. They are literally stealing my tax return from me right now. They advertise to people to use this Go2bank card for tax returns. One day after getting my return they locked my account for "suspicious deposit". The only deposit. They requested copy of my driver's license to get it unlocked. Two days later it was unlocked. The following day my account was locked again for "suspicious activity". Had to again resend copies of my driver's license for them to "open" the file to see what is going on. Took multiple emails and hours on the phone with someone sitting at home with children crying in the background for them to unlock it the following day. Would you believe that the following day my account was locked again for the same "suspicious deposit" excuse. I had to send ID again and a utility bill. After weeks of my account being locked I am being told that they are waiting for a "return request" from the IRS. They have no explanation as to what is going on and I have to wait for an email from them with no time frame. My account was open for four days. It was locked three times. And now has been locked for 18 days. This company is trying to steal my money. I have two daughters to take care of and this company and it's employees are unprofessional and should be held responsible for their actions. ✝️ I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. I believe that they are stealing money and using documents and data for identity theft. Contacting BBB, department of consumer affairs and FBI. I drove an hour to find out that they closed this office and only have a location in Ohio. I can understand why."
