Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Antioch

"As a night auditor for a larger corporation such as Marriott, I am extremely well versed, in how a hotel should provide hospitality. Recently just moved from Las Vegas & decided to book & check into a room at the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Antioch Upon check in my husband and myself were not greeted or acknowledge for 20+ minutes then it took another 25-30 minutes for a simple check in ( ID, card on file & $100 cash deposit ) Once checked in we went up to our room showered & went out for a dinner date. When we returned our room neither room key worked. From my experience it is absolutely not unusual for a room key to be demagnetized. HOWEVER in this case it was absolutely unusual as when we went back downstairs and let the front desk know neither room key was working. The gentleman at the front asked what room number But did not ask for any form of ID proceeded to Re-encoded the keys and sent us on our way. Once we got back into the room, absolutely everything, and I mean absolutely everything Was gone. My husband's camera for work, PS5 system, Apple Watch & phone that was charging on the night stand, all our clothes & shoes! Since my husband was paying for date night, I decided to leave my Purse in the room with my wallet which also was stolen! My ID and DL, social security card & birth certificate (again we were moving hence why I had my important documents with me) We immediately went back to the front desk and made the front desk aware of the situation and asked for assistance with reviewing the cameras & the retrieval of our personal items. The employee & MOD advised they didn't have camera access & stated they can't do anything about the situation. We immediately called the APD. Once the officers arrived they took picture evidence of the room and a report. The officers specifically stated "This isn't the first or the last time this has happened. We were just here last week & a gentleman From Colorado was out here to work on a pipeline & he had his items stolen. He had a laptop with confidential Information and a gun that was stolen out of his room." No the rooms don't have safes! No one is safe here! I would suggest NO ONE BOOK AND OR STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR LIVELIHOOD JEOPARDIZED! Annnnnd yes sadly they still charged us for the stay. - Cooperate was also made aware of the incident"

"This place is in horrible shape, the rooms are equipped with broken coffee makers and inoperable shutters,, there were very loud outdoor announcements at 4 am that would wake you and the staff didn't care about these issues. It would be well the worth the extra $20-40 dollars to stay elsewhere in this area. I refer to this hotel as being "comically bad" and would never recommend this hotel to anyone."

"This had to be the worst motel And Antioch ! Cockroaches in the bathroom, the room had no blankets, and when I mean no blankets, not even a $5.99 blanket just two old sheets no bedspread like the picture or not even a bottom duvet like they show in the picture when I went down to ask for a blanket they said that’s all you get and start arguing with me. At this point I was kind of stuck because it was Thanksgiving two days away, not to mention The blinds are All broken which there is a factory behind and the big floodlights go in your room all night next"

"Worst place I have ever stayed at! There was nothing in the bathroom. No soap, shampoo, lotion, No Kleenex in the holder. No extra toilet paper. On the roll was a quarter left of the toilet paper. The floor was dirty. The light in the shower was burned out. Not adequate lighting in the bathroom. The room had not been properly cleaned. All surfaces looked like they hadn’t been wiped down for a long time. Dirty fingerprints on light switches. Dirt and grime around light switches. The coffee table had a ceramic top that was broken into three pieces. You could lift the pieces out. Someone had burnt some thing in the microwave so they were burn marks all over the inside of the microwave and it smelt like burnt popcorn. I had to visit the front desk many times. First to make sure I wasn’t going to be charge for the damage in the room because they took a deposit. Went up to get items for the bathroom but all she gave me was one small soap. She said they were out of all other items. The refrigerator sounded like someone snoring so I had to unplug it and put my food back in my cooler. There was at least a 1 inch gap all around the door so the light shined in all night. You could hear people talking and doors opening and closing. I could hear the people above me. Outside my window was a tall fence with trash cans and the screen was bent like someone tried to break in. I wouldn't even take my shoes off when walking around in the room. The pillows looked like they were MANY years old. They were balled up. Felt like sleeping on rolled up towels. It was disgusting. I cranked up the heat because I didn't want any of the sheets touching me. And the best part, I had to check the mattress for bedbugs. And what little was put out was a joke! Breakfast consisted of a choice of three small bagels, one cream cheese packet, sliced bread, butter, coffee, five creamers, one mini bear claw, Frosted Flakes and milk. Started at 7a. I got there 7:15am and that was my choices. Once everything gone at 7:15, nothing was ever refilled. I paid $116 for a room and was totally ripped off!!! Stay at Comfort Inn down the street."

"This place is a total dump! The room looked nothing like the pictures, and it was unsanitary! The sheets on the beds were full of stains, many of the blinds were missing, the toilet had not been cleaned, and the shower had hair left in it. When these issues were brought to the manager’s attention, he did not care to remedy. His only question was to ask if we prepaid. When it was confirmed, he said “no refund” and proceeded to walk off. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here."
