"Went here years ago for my first tattoo. Had the exact design I wanted (after months of looking, my uncle drew something I loved). The guy at the shop absolutely would not just tattoo it as is. I waited while he drew his own. Mine was about 2 inch x 1 inch. He drew a giant 12 inch x 2 inch version that I didn't like. Ended up just leaving. Went to a shop in San Pedro and had a way better experience. That guy said, "Oh, this is cute," and just gave me what I wanted. I'm still happy years later. So don't go here if you have your own design in mind."
