"Really nice treat! 15 moon from Pala, well worth the short drive to gamble... Would recommend this for a family oriented type trip it was very serene nice right on the golf course beautiful and it even had a back sitting porch with two chairs super nice I enjoyed myself and would even ask to be at this place rather than Pala casino rooms!!"

"We held our wedding at Pala Mesa and the professionalism and service was very disappointing. There was rain forecasted for the day of our wedding, and rather than reserving an indoor space (as our contract stipulated) they double booked the venue. The ownership and general manager disregarded our concerns and did not have any staff on hand to assist with any issues the rain caused. (See images) We had wet linens and table covers that were not replaced since becoming wet early in the morning. Not a single towel was laid to clean any rain even 4 hours after it stopped raining. Puddles were left throughout the reception area for the duration of the event. We were told at booking that in the event of cold weather the venue could be enclosed with tent “siding”, and this was not the case. We were told the day of the wedding that the siding was not available. The on-site coordinator Autumn showed more consideration than management, however was also not to be found for hours during the reception. The specific beers we selected for our 5 hour open bar and signature drink ran out within the first hour. I know rain is out of anyone’s control, but the lack of care and effort to make up for the fact that they violated our contract and double booked the venue was really disappointing. The disregard and attitude from upper management was completely unprofessional."

"We were there for a wedding. The room price was okay. We didn’t feel it was discounted for the 40+ rooms that were occupied by the out of town guests. They were very clean but there were no waters in the room. Not even ones for purchase. An opportunity missed by the management to get us for more money. Check in wasn’t available until after 3pm. That’s when the wedding started. The management was aware of this but no concession was given. If you wanted to check in early, there was a $65 additional charge. Even at 2:30pm. Really?! As part of the wedding celebration, the family of the bride rented a shuttle service that took guests from the resort to the nearby casino starting at 10pm and ending at 1:30am. This was great. Where the shuttle picked us up was next to the main parking lot off the driving range. Poorly lit and lack of any signage, when exiting our vehicle my husband and I both fell because of the tree roots causing severe damage to the asphalt parking lot. We both skinned our knees and I also skinned both of my palms and bruised my hip. When returning from the casino, we opted to leave our vehicle until the morning when we could see the “lay of the land”. Overall, the wedding was beautiful, the food was good, and the venue was very nice. We just felt that there should have been bottled water in the rooms, even if it was for purchase, safer parking lot conditions, better exterior lighting and early check in at no additional charge if the rooms were ready as they knew the guests were all coming in from out of town for a 3pm wedding."

"I haven’t stayed in the hotel but I’ve made use of some of the facilities here. The bar in the restaurant was quite good. Very quiet and comfortable when I’ve been in. The bartender gave some great recommendations for food and drink and was very friendly. The bar was clean and well-kept. Prices are pretty reasonable both in the bar as well as the snack shack by the golf course. Sara in the restaurant and snack shack is the sweetest person ever. Ever since Pala bought the property there have been a lot of renovations taking place, and I’m excited to see what is the next thing to be improved!"
