"Fantastic military aircraft, many still flying regularly with wonderful volunteer guides with deep knowledge of each aircraft. I went on a weekend so got to tour inside the WW2 bomber B-17 Flying Fortress that is being restored."

"What a fantastic museum! People of all ages will have plenty of fun here for at least half a day. There is quite a lot to see, spanning multiple hangars and a large outdoor area between them. Sometimes on weekends they will even take a plane from their collection out to do a big talk about it and then fly it for everyone to see. There is plenty of parking, even if the lot fills up you can easily park on the street and not have too long of a walk to the museum."

"PoF is an American treasure. This collection was largely put together immediately post WWII and would be nearly impossible to put together today. With many planes still in flying condition, and several super rare (P-38 Lightning) or one of a kind (airworthy Zero), this is a must-go for anyone remotely interested in WW1-Vietnam era warbirds. If you can, attend one of the monthly weekend flights with talk beforehand."
